Autumn Chodorowski

Autumn Chodorowski is currently a second-year Violin Fellow at the New World Symphony and Principal Second Violin of the Quad Cities Symphony Orchestra. Since graduating from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2016, she has also served as a regular member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Ms. Chodorowski holds a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from The Glenn Gould School, a master’s degree in violin performance from Northwestern University Bienen School of Music, and an artist diploma in Chamber Music Studies from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Her principal violin teachers were Paul Kantor, Almita Vamos and Ian Swensen. Performances at summer festivals include the Aspen Music Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, Round Top Festival, National Orchestral Institute, National Repertory Orchestra, Spoleto Festival, and Music Academy of the West. She has performed alongside Geoff Nuttall of the St. Lawrence String Quartet, Robert DeMaine of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Pacifica Quartet, and pianist Jeremy Denk, among others. These experiences have led her to become a great supporter of organizations such as Groupmuse and Classical Revolution. Ms. Chodorowski hopes to one day create even more intimate and personal classical music experiences for audiences. In addition, she has served as string faculty at the Sitka Fine Arts Camp in Sitka, Alaska, and enjoys teaching violin as much as possible. When not busy with the violin, she enjoys practicing yoga, tasting wine, and watching movies.
