Scott Macomber

Scott Macomber, trumpet, has served as Acting Second Trumpet of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra since August 2016. He frequently performs with the San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Ballet orchestras and holds permanent positions with both the Santa Rosa Symphony and the California Symphony. In addition to his performing career, Scott is on the faculty at Saint Mary’s College. He is also an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, specializing in helping individuals overcome stage fright.
