Reserving Lawn seats
The lawn is open! Reservations are required.
Reservations are free and available from 10 AM-2:30 PM (MT) on the day of each concert.
To enable safe viewing on the Lawn, the Festival is limiting lawn capacity to 1,000 people, and is requiring advance reservations. All patrons who wish to attend concerts on the lawn must follow the safety protocols described below; please read them carefully. The quickest way to reserve Lawn space is at the link below. Availability appears when reservations open. Thank you.
How to reserve seats on the lawn
The Festival has rented a second big screen and additional speakers to enhance the viewing experience on the lower lawn. All seating will be in socially distanced pods, in sizes that will accommodate groups of 2, 4, or 6 people. Large aisles will allow for socially-distanced entry and exit from the lawn. Masks will be required while outside your “pod.” As of this writing, masks will not be required once you are in your pod with your group.
Advance reservations are not available. Click here to reserve now. If you need assistance, please call the Festival Box Office on the day of the concert, between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM, at 208.278.1000. Reservations will close at 2:30 PM or when the event reaches capacity. There will be no wait list, and no tickets will be available at the Lawn.
Please print and bring your tickets with you, or have them available on your mobile device. Note the letter associated with your seating section (C or D). Check the map on the Festival website to see where the entrance to your section is located. You may wish to park in the Sun Valley Inn parking lot (across from the tennis courts and Olympic pool), although space there may be limited.
Festival donors at the Benefactor level and up receive priority reserved seating as a thank you for helping make the concerts free for everyone. Donors, please check your email for information on your summer benefits, including seating information and how to reserve your seats on the lawn space.

Safety protocols
The Festival asks that individuals who are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or believe they may be in a higher risk health group, please avoid the Lawn and instead enjoy the concerts online from the comfort of their homes. Symptoms currently listed by the Centers for Disease Control include fever or chills, coughing, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, and new loss of taste or smell.
If you choose to attend on the Lawn, you will be asked to review and agree to current safety protocols before reserving your space. The Sun Valley Music Festival thanks you for your help in making the 2020 Summer Season Lawn experience a safe and joyful one for all attendees by following these guidelines and protocols. Please note that these protocols may be updated as new guidelines are issued by local, state, or federal authorities.
Maintain a minimum six-foot distance from people who are not in your party at all times. This includes in parking areas; walking paths to the venue; in entrances, restrooms, or bar lines; and while walking to and from your reserved seats or pods.
Masks are required to enter the venue. If you forget yours, the Festival can provide you with a complimentary, disposable mask. Please wear your mask while walking to and from your seats, and while in any lines. Masks are not required—as of the date this is written—while seated in your designated area.
Please abide by all signs and staff directions while at the event. Staff are there to help you and to ensure everyone’s safety, and to answer questions of course!
Please remain in your reserved seating areas, which have been designed to ensure social distancing from other groups. Please do not change seats or join someone else’s seating area.
Please arrive early to ensure you have time to make your way to your seats without joining or creating a crowd. Please also take your time leaving the venue, allowing time to spread out and socially distance.
All protocols comply with or exceed local, state, and national health safety requirements as currently understood. Thank you for following them and helping create the safest environment possible in which to enjoy these concerts!
