Patrick Herb

Patrick Herb has been the bass trombonist of the McCall Music Festival Orchestra since 2021. He held the same positions with the Albany Symphony from 2007 to 2015 and the Hartford Symphony from 2007 to 2017. Patrick has performed with The Cleveland Orchestra, The Knights, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Seattle Symphony and Opera Orchestras. He has recorded numerous soundtracks for movies, video games, and t.v. shows in New York and Seattle.

In 2018 he began teaching band in Hailey, Idaho at Wood River Middle and High School. His students have been invited to participate in regional, state, and national honor bands and have placed at Idaho State Solo and Ensemble competitions. Patrick is currently the Brass, Wind, and Percussion Chair for the Sun Valley Music Festival Summer Music Institute and has been since 2019.

He spends time in the Summer with his wife Tiffany, and daughters Elisabeth and Isabella sailing on Redfish Lake and exploring the Sawtooth Mountains.
